Orr Shalom Children Looking for Homes
Check here for updates on Israeli children in need of loving homes. All the children's names have been changed to protect their privacy.
Rotem – Rotem is a wonderful eleven year old girl, She is quiet and shy, and suffers from learning difficulties and emotional problems. She urgently needs a warm and stable family that will be able to provide her with her needs and invest their resources and love in her welfare. Currently, she is doing well at school, in the central region, and she draws great strength from the relationships she has formed there. As a result, we are looking for a family that lives nearby. In addition, Rotem comes from a religious background.
Maya and Michal – They are two sisters, aged five and ten respectively, that have been moved around constantly throughout their lives. Their mother suffers from mental illness and finds it difficult to function. Maya, the youngest, is a clever girl who desperately needs a family that will give her love and stability. Michal, the oldest, acts like a parent towards her sister, and urgently needs a family that will allow her to be a girl and not a mother. For these girls we are looking for a religious family.
Guy – Guy is one and a half years old. His parents are drug addicts, and he has suffered from withdrawal symptoms since birth. He is a sweet, smiley and friendly baby, but he suffers from delayed development. He needs a devoted family that will be able to provide for his needs.
Hayim and Meir – Haim and Meir are two brothers, aged two and five respectively, that currently live in an emergency centre. They were removed from their parents' care after they suffered from severe neglect. Both the children suffer from delayed development, primarily because they have not received the appropriate care. Despite the difficulties, they are lovely and sociable children with great potential. They need a loving Haredi family who are able to give them the care they will need to develop normally.
