Beit Goldschmidt Celebrates Triple Bat Mitzvah

Last week, Beit Goldschmidt celebrated the bat mitzvah of Sarit, Limor, and Ronny (names have been changed). This exciting event was held at the British Park, in front of the girls' friends and families, as well as staff at the home.

The celebration opened with greetings from Beit Goldschmidt Director Anat Hendel, followed by the Residence Coordinator Menasseh Sagi. Then each of the girls gave their thanks and to sing a song. The ceremony culminated with the families stepping forward to congratulate the girls.

The bat mitzvah celebrations at Beit Goldschmidt are the culmination of an impressive and meaningful process; throughout which each of the girls learn about issues like identity, belonging, and adolescence. After the ceremony there was dinner and dancing, ending in a huge circle, with everyone singing about "Our way is not easy…but you won't be alone…I'll be there with you."
