British Ambassador Visits Orr Shalom Home

On 17 July 2011, we were honored that the British Ambassador to Israel, Matthew Gould, visited one of Orr Shalom’s therapeutic family group homes in Mevasseret, to find out more about the work that Orr Shalom does. Following the visit, Ambassador Gould said:  "I was impressed by the work of Orr Shalom, a non-profit organization providing safe, loving homes to Israel's most vulnerable children. I was moved to talk to some of the children themselves, about their lives and their hopes for the future. And I was pleased to learn that the home I visited receives help from the British Friends of Orr Shalom."
