Orr Shalom Home adopted by Beit Shemesh volunteers

A group of Beit Shemesh friends under the direction of Michaela, Michelle and Ruthie have been linked to a child in the home, and will provide personal packages for them throughout the year. Parcels will include basic necessities and extras, such as birthday presents, back-to-school supplies at the start of the school year, swimming/beach clothes and more. The project aims to build a strong and long lasting personal relationship between the home and volunteers. The group visited the home to launch the project in May 2011. After its initial success, Orr Shalom is looking forward to initiating similar projects with other willing groups.
