Orr Shalom/Yahad Tu Bishvat Party

Yachad-Modiin eight graders are volunteering with Orr Shalom's therapeutic-foster children. They are planning and running their holiday parties and collecting toys and games for the children. This letter was sent after the Tu Bishvat party which the Yachad pupils organised:

To the children of Yachad Modiin and their wonderful teachers,

Together, we'll open our hearts to each other and see the light in the sky.
Together, we'll open our hearts to each other in hope of love.

There are no words of thanks which can be sufficient to explain how wonderful you all are. Time after time you come and give us things nobody else can give us; you are a generous, courteous and devoted group who give your love to us. With your help we are able to look at the balcony every day and enjoy the beauty and the color that you have left us, and the wonderful flowers. The special Tu Bishvat party had a profound effect on the children. You are incredible! You have so many reasons to be proud of yourselves, and we hope that you have taken something positive away from this experience. Next time we sing 'Together', you should know that it's written about a group like yours. We look forward to meeting throughout the year, and we are excited by your devotion!
